With our Water Jet Cutting Service, we are able to cut through almost any material to a high degree of accuracy and precision – leaving materials with a high quality, clean finish. Materials which we have cut for our clients are wide ranging and include plastics, glass, wood, tiles, granite, marble, stainless steel, aluminium and brass – to name but a few!
We are particularly specialised in cutting tile designs such as corporate logos, family crests and tile medallions.
Since beginning this operation, Kestrel has become a respected partner in cutting tiles for the Tile Supply and Distribution Trades within Northern Ireland / Ireland.
At 1mm diameter, a high pressure water jet at 3000 bar, with or without an abrasive, is utilised to cut many varied materials to a fine accuracy. As the cutting method is cold the characteristics of the material being cut do not change and leaves a very clean finish.
What is Water Jet Cutting?
Water jet cutting technology is the real alternative to laser cutting, plasma cutting, milling and conventional machining. We cut virtually any material including hardened steels, stainless steels, marble or ceramic tiles and laminates.
